Citronella, also known as Cymbopogon nardus, is a fragrant lemon-scented plant that is part of the grass family. It grows in Indonesia and Sri Lanka and can reach up to 2.5 meters.

How To Use
Diffuse
Diffuse citronella oil by adding 3-5 drops per 100ml of water to an oil diffuser.
This will repel insects and remove odors from your environment.
Skin + Body
Use citronella oil topically by diluting 4-6 drops in 20ml (2 Tbsp) of carrier oil.
Add 5-10 drops to a warm bath.
Citronella oil can be used to treat lice, dandruff, itchy scalp, and oily hair. Add 10 drops of citronella oil to 3 Tbsp of warm carrier oil and massage this blend into your scalp and hair. Wrap your hair in a towel and let the oil sit for 30 minutes before washing it out with shampoo.

Use citronella oil to make a room and furniture spray to keep away bacteria, pests and odors. Combine 1 cup water, ½ cup witch hazel, and 25 drops citronella oil in a spray bottle. This spray also helps to keep animals off furniture and carpets.
Pairs Well With
Citronella oil pairs well with eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass, lemon, sweet orange, peppermint, and geranium essential oils.
Make a blend to repel insects by combining 4 drops citronella, 2 drops eucalyptus,
and 2 drops lemongrass essential oils.

I find this citronella smells like the Lemon essential oil. And that the lemon and eucalyptus oil smells a lot stronger then this one. They all smell great; the lemon and citronella , But I find the smell is not as potent as the lemon and Eucalyptus mix from woolzies

I live in the south, so you know combatting mosquitoes is serious. I made a lotion bar with this and we discovered that even without applying it, there is a measure of protection. You can literally just place it close to you and have a mosquito-free bubble.
