Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender, also known as Lavandula angustifolia, produces beautiful pinkish-purple flowers that give off an intoxicating floral aroma. It is a water-wise plant that is indigenous to the Mediterranean area of Europe.
Woolzies Lavender Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation from the flowers of the plant.
How to use
Add 3-5 drops of lavender oil per 100ml of water to an oil diffuser to enjoy its soothing aroma.
Skin + Body
To apply lavender oil to the body, dilute 4-6 drops in 20ml (2 Tbsp) of carrier oil.
Applied topically, this oil can treat tense and aching muscles as well as insect bites, blemishes, burns, and infections.
Massage this oil into the bottom of the feet before bed to combat insomnia and anxiety.
Make a relaxing and soothing bath salt blend by adding 1 cup of Epsom salts, 4 drops of lavender oil, 4 drops of Roman chamomile oil, and 1 drop of peppermint oil to a warm bath.
Lavender oil can be used to freshen linen, clothing, and the air in your home.
Combine 25 drops of lavender oil with 1 cup of water in a spray bottle for a
floral room and linen spray.
Pairs Well With
Lavender oil pairs well with clary sage, bergamot, geranium, Roman chamomile, rosemary, cedarwood, and eucalyptus essential oils.
For a relaxing oil blend, combine 4 drops lavender oil and 3 drops Roman chamomile oil.
This lavender scented oil is true to the scent of the plant (there are many varieties of lavender!) and not too potent. I use probably 12 drops on each of the 3 Woolzies balls. Laundry comes out soft to the touch and does not stain clothes! I can get 3-4 loads before I have to re-scent with the oil. I love these two products!!
I just started using this brand of oil (Lavender) about a month ago and I love it! I bought the New Zealand woolie balls and love the lavender oil smell on my laundry. I don't use fabric softener anymore, just the balls (which cuts down on your drying time) and oils. Thank you for providing quality all natural oils. Look forward into buying more.
I've been using this scent for a couple of weeks now and I'm very pleased. I use it in the mister for my hair, in the laundry drying balls, and In my diffusers. Just a few drops will do it. Really a pleasant way to relax. The price is right and I would recommend this to anyone who likes scents.
I have tried many brands for lavender essential oil and Woolzies is by far the best. The scent lingers works phenomenally. I use it with almond oil every night to help me rest; it also helps calm down my grandson after a bath before bed.
I love this lavender sent. I like that it has a stronger lavender Smell. It may come off as “no pure” but it gives a nice clean smell
